Plumbago takes its name from the purple wildflower that grows near Lake Arancio, close to Planeta’s Ulmo estate in Menfi. Made entirely from Nero d’Avola, it expresses the varietal’s softer, more floral side. Planeta, a family estate founded in the 1990s, helped redefine modern Sicilian winemaking through sustainable viticulture and local tradition.
